Preview badges

While building a badge, the Highlight Badge Preview component provides a real-time preview of the configured icon, label, and colors.

To get a better idea of how the badge will look, including merge fields, alerts, or confetti, and to troubleshoot issues, switch to Record Preview Mode. Record Preview Mode displays the current badge in the context of a specific record.

The badge design preview stays visible in Record Preview Mode. Select a Display Object record from the lookup. The component will render the current badge definition, along with all active, eligible badges for the selected record.

NOTE: If the selected record is not eligible for the current Highlight Badge Definition, it will not display in Record Preview Mode.

The preview component will display errors in configuration, as they would be displayed for the selected record.

Record Preview Mode badges do not update as changes are made to the Highlight Badge Definition configuration. Click the Refresh icon after making changes to re-render the preview for the selected record.
